OSHA’s Temporary Workers Initiative
Over the past few years, the use of temporary employees and staffing agencies has grown tremendously. This has created challenges to the work force and raised some big questions regarding the training and safety of these temporary workers. Many times, the staffing agency and host employer responsibilities for the employees’ training and protection has not been completed. OSHA has launched a Temporary Worker Initiative which includes ensuring that staffing agencies and host employers understand their safety and health responsibilities.
This seminar is designed for staffing agencies and the host employers/clients who use temporary employees. We will review recommended best practices for both parties to help make sure they develop the necessary programs and procedures to meet their responsibility and protect employees.
